  1. 1- Will I have to go through Sturgis to get back to my campsite?

  2. Answer: No, Wyatt's Hideaway is the first exit after Sturgis. (only 20 minutes from Sturgis)...Going through Sturgis can often take an hour and a half.

  1. 2-How far to the nearest convenience store?

  2. Answer: Wyatt's Hideaway is only 2 &1/2 miles from Belle Fourche. (a town of 5,000 people with banks, stores etc.)

  1. 3-Is the campground really quiet?

  2. Answer:  Absolutely, we have an older clientele who like to get their sleep. Some guests even bring their kids to the rally. We have also chosen not to sell alcohol, even though we would make a lot more money. Alcohol is allowed but our guets who have a drink are very respecfull.

  1. 4- Do you have shade?

  2. Answer: Yes, 13 tree covered on the river!

  4. 5-I feel like I am forgetting something.  What should I bring?

  5. Towels, shampoo, soap, sunscreen and clear goggles are things that people often forget, but we have several stores a couple of miles from camp where you can get what you need.

  6.  6-A group of us are coming to Sturgis, but we are not sure how many will be able to attend or for how many nights. We want to camp together. What can we do?
    "Many people have the same question, and we have a simple solution. As long as you have a prepaid reservation, you may add people or nights to that reservation as late as when you arrive.  Keep in mind that RV hook-ups are sold in 5 night blocks, but we can always ad RV nights in a dry site.

  7. 7-What will the weather be like?

  8. It can be 100 degrees during the day and it is usually in the 60’s at night.  It’s great for riding and for sleeping.  Bring your leathers and your rain gear.

  9. 8-Can I ship my gear?

  10. Yes, your gear will be stored inside and we do not charge a handling or storage fee.  We are not responsible for loss or damage.

  11. 9-Can I have visitors at my campsite?

  12. We do allow visitors.  There is a $5 day pass.  This does not include showers and they cannot stay past 7pm without being a guest ($15/night per person).

  13. 10-Can we have a campfire?

  14. Yes, but only in our campfire rings.  Our rings also have an adjustable grill so you can cook.  South Dakota does not allow fire wood to be brought into the state, but we have plenty of firewood bundled up for you.

  15. 11-Are children welcome?

  16. Some  campgrounds allow children grudgingly, but WE LOVE CHILDREN!  Many Sturgis Rally campgrounds are not family oriented… but we are.

  17. 12-Are there showers?

  18. Yes!  16 private showers with plenty of hot water.  Also sinks, mirrors, electrical outlets and indoor toilets.

  19. 13-Do you sell alcohol?

  20. No, but we do allow alcohol on site as long as everything is respectful.

  21. 14-Is there food available?

  22. We serve hot breakfast every morning during the Sturgis rally. (sausage, eggs and biscuits & gravy for only $5)  We also have ice, pop, bottled water, fire wood, and other camping supplies.

  23. 15-Should we reserve a spot for tent camping?

  24. Yes, we only have 170 tent sites, but we don’t reserve a specific site. The tent sites are claimed on a first come, first served basis.

  25. 16-Can we reserve a spot for our motor home?

  26. Yes, we only have 53 RV hook-ups. When you arrive we will guide you into your site. .

  27. 17-Can we bring our pet?

  28. Yes, pets must be kept on a leash, must be cleaned up after, and must not be left unattended.  No pitbulls.
